There are many people who do not have the time or physical ability to be a “hands on” physical volunteer, but you can still help by making a donation.  It costs a lot to operate  and maintain the resources needed for a Dial A Ride service, even though we are lean and mean, keeping our overheads to the minimum.  We rely on being able to generate extra income each year so that we can organise the Spring, Summer and Autumn trips programme; this is where we take our passengers all over Norfolk and Suffolk to visit Coast and Country.  We have enjoyed end of Pier Shows and even river trips on the many accessible boats now in operation.   

We are saving to purchase another mobility bus as the demand is there;  we have the volunteers we are just constrained by lack of the extra resource to buy the vehicle and the additional cost of insurance, fuel cost and maintenance costs.

We are small, but we are mighty. You can help enable us to effectively achieve our goals.

Make a Donation

If you are an individual and wish to donate you can send a cheque to us at our base – Room 134, Woodlands, Norwich Community Hospital, Bowthorpe Road, Norwich NR2 3 TU.  If you are a tax payer you might like to make this Gift Aid and we can claim back the tax you paid on the amount of your donation from the Inland Revenue.

Sponsor a seat

All our passengers are on a low income and each journey is subsidised.  So, a one way trip costs £10 per passenger but they only pay a £2 contribution.  By Sponsoring a seat you can contribute the remaining amount of the trip.  A donation of £50 will sponsor one seat with your name displayed on a bus for one year.  If you are a business you can sponsor a corporate seat for £100 your name/business name will be displayed on a bus shaped badge, again just above the seat.
